^^ does anyone know if this is possible?
As far as I can tell it's not exposed in the Mixpanel UI and if we wanted to be able to Filter/Segment by the Distinct ID we would need to expose it explicitly as an event property.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Currently you cannot segment by Distinct ID in our Explore report. I think this is a great feedback on our Explore report! Mind posting this in the ideas section (rather than Q&A) so that it can get some votes from the community and better visibility from our product team? Adding the topic tag of "Explore Report" or "Distinct ID" might also help for better search-ability.
As a work around, you can locate your users Distinct Id by clicking on the users profile in locating it on the URL bar. Please take a look at our Distinct IDs article for more details.
