I am trying to find the best way to count how many users opened my app. I thought by using “All events” and counting unique users would be the best way. However, when i access “Users” and try to use a similar filter it doesnt work

Sorry it took so long to get back you about this.
What might be happening is users are triggering events without creating a profile in your project. This is most likely caused by the “identify” not being fired correctly for certain users. This is why you see 133 users with profiles, but 178 actions.
One way to test this is to click on where it says “Users with Profiles” top left of the users page, and change it to just “Users”. This number will show you everyone, which should hopefully then match your reports.
