Hi,

I have an event “Vote cast” with a property named “MeetingID”.  I would like to calculate an average for the following example:

Event #1: Vote cast, MeetingID = 1234

Event #2: Vote cast, MeetingID = 1234

Event #3: Vote cast, MeetingID = 1234

Event #4: Vote cast, MeetingID = 5678

Event #5: Vote cast, MeetingID = 9101

Event #6: Vote cast, MeetingID = 9101

Average number of votes cast pr meeting = 2

Is it possible to calculate an average pr. different property value? Another use case would be an event “Suggestion created” with the same property named “MeetingID” where I would like to see the average number of created suggestions pr. meeting.

Thanks.

Hi sbz,

I believe the new QB UI we released for UI allows you to do just this. When you are creating a report and querying an event you can aggregate on a property to find either the average, median, sum, percentiles, minimum or, maximum for that property on that event. If you wanted to see the average for a specific property value you could add a filter to filter to the report filtering specifically for that property value. I’ve included an image below from one of our internal dummy data projects.
